(1) In terms of production capacity and market, the output of domestic hydraulic presses has a great growth rate every year. In 2004, the sales of domestic hydraulic presses were about 1 billion yuan, and in 2005 it reached 1.3 billion! By 2012, it has exceeded the 10 billion mark! In 2019, tens of millions of tons of hydraulic presses were built, which are rare in the world. The domestic sales of domestic hydraulic presses exceed 90%, and the output value of export products accounts for a very small proportion of the total output value, less than 5%. Only a few companies have products that are eligible for export, and most of them are exported to third world countries. Most of the hydraulic presses imported in China are some hydraulic presses, most of which are imported products, and there are fewer products in Europe and

America.

(2) In terms of the technical level of the products, the technical level of the domestic single hydraulic press has reached the medium or advanced level. Some hydraulic press manufacturers have developed rapidly through technology introduction or cooperation with the same industry at home and abroad. However, in some hydraulic presses with high technical content, some key technologies, such as hydraulic and electronic control parts, have to cooperate with domestic and foreign enterprises or research units, and the hydraulic components and electronic control components mainly rely on imports.

At present, domestic hydraulic press products are still dominated by stand-alone or unrelated production lines composed of stand-alone machines, mainly relying on manual loading and unloading. The number of hydraulic machines with automatic loading and unloading is less than 3%, and the automatic line composed of multiple machines is basically still in its infancy. In terms of product distribution, low-grade hydraulic presses are mainly concentrated in small tonnage, and the number of units exceeds 70% of the total, but the output value does not exceed 30%. Generally, they are small tonnage four-column or single-column hydraulic presses.

The output value of the mid-range frame hydraulic press with certain technical content exceeds 50%. For special occasions, the output value of products with more advanced control is about 15%. This type of hydraulic press generally adopts advanced electro-hydraulic proportional technology to improve and achieve certain special functions.

(3) On the quality level, with the continuous improvement of users' requirements for product quality, domestic hydraulic press manufacturers are paying more and more attention to product quality issues. Since the technology of domestic hydraulic presses was first introduced and absorbed from the former Soviet Union, the rigidity and strength of domestically produced hydraulic presses are far superior to those of Japan and South Korea, and are comparable to those of Europe and the United States.
