1. Before the excavator starts, check the environmental safety, clear obstacles on the road, and unrelated personnel leave the excavator and then lift the bucket.

2. After the preparation work, the driver should honk the horn first, and then operate the excavator to start.

3. Check the direction of the crawler frame before operating the walking lever, and try to make the excavator walk forward as much as possible. If the drive wheels are in front, the travel lever should operate backwards.

4. When reversing the excavator, pay attention to the space behind the car, pay attention to the blind spot behind the excavator, and ask a special person for assistance if necessary.

5. If the excavator starts in the low speed range with the walking rod, the engine speed will suddenly increase, so the driver should operate the walking rod carefully.

6. Hydraulic excavator walking speed – high or low speed can be selected by the driver. When the selector switch is in the "0" position, the excavator will travel at low speed and high torque; when the selection switch is in the "1" position, the excavator travel speed will automatically increase or decrease according to the working pressure of the hydraulic travel circuit. For example, the excavator can choose high speed when walking on flat ground; choose low speed when walking uphill. If the engine speed control panel is set below the middle engine speed (about 1400r/min), even if the selector switch is in the "1" position, the excavator will still travel at low speed.

7. The excavator should walk on the flat ground as much as possible, and avoid placing or manipulating the upper turntable to rotate by itself.

8. When the excavator is walking on bad ground, avoid rocks from damaging the walking motor and crawler frame. Mud, sand and stones entering the track venue will affect the normal walking of the excavator and the service life of the track. Many mines also have excavators working. There are many rocks. At this time, pay attention to the chassis and four-wheel area of the excavator, and pay attention to whether it is loose or damaged. Check the tension of the track, it is better to be looser than if it were on flat ground. When working on the mountain, the working device of the excavator will be damaged faster. Attention should be paid to the use of reinforced working device of the excavator and timely replacement.

9. Try to avoid the excavator wading in the water. When wading in the water, the underwater ground condition should be checked first, and the water surface should not exceed the upper edge of the roller. Some excavators work by the sea, while others work in seawater. In this case, after the excavator works, be sure to rinse the part of the excavator that has come into contact with salt water with clean water, and pay more attention to whether the electrical part is corroded. After the cleaning is completed, conditionally use oil to protect the exposed metal, then lubricate the various working devices and components of the excavator, and check whether the components are loose and damaged. If found, it must be dealt with in time. If you do not pay attention to the maintenance work of the excavator working at the seaside, it may cause the metal of the excavator to corrode, which will greatly affect the working state of the excavator.

10. When the excavator walks on the slope, ensure the direction of the crawler and the ground conditions, so that the excavator can drive as straight as possible; keep the bucket 20-30cm off the ground, if the excavator slips or is unstable, put down the bucket immediately; when the engine When stalling on a ramp, lower the bucket to the ground, place the control lever in neutral, and restart the engine.
